In June of 2017, Greenwood and Wetmore experienced flooding along the Middle and South Hardscrabble Creeks as heavy rains brought down soil, ash, and debris from the Junkins Burn Scar.
During this flood event, the foot bridge in Wetmore washed away.
This is the foot bridge that connects "downtown" Wetmore where the Post Office and Wetmore Community Church are located to the other side of the creek housing the Wetmore Community Building and Library.
The foot bridge has now been repaired!
