A fun time was had by all at the recent ice cream social hosted by the WHG&HS at the Pavilion at Trinity Ranch in Wetmore.
Around 40 people enjoyed ice cream and music by Cowboy Musician, Clint Carr. Dr. Hamilton gave a very interesting talk about the history of Trinity Ranch, along with information about Charles Goodnight who owned property and ran cattle in and around the Babcock Hole area of Wetmore and in Pueblo. Members of the Goodnight Barn Preservation Committee were also in attendance and talked more about Goodnight and the effort to preserve his barn located just outside of Pueblo.
It was a beautiful day in a beautiful location. Thank you to Dr. and Joan Hamilton for their hospitality.
