April 14 Meeting

Greetings All,

I hope your Easter weekend was a blessed one.

Our April meeting is this Saturday, April 14th, 10 a.m., at the History Center in Wetmore.  Be sure to bring your recipes for Dave Alexander so he can include them in our booklet on which he is working.  Grandma, Great-grandma, Mother living in the Wetmore area 1861 into the 1920's can be included.  We will re-establish the deadline for submittal at this meeting, as the prior one wasn't disseminated to all members.

The May meeting will be a tour of the El Pueblo Museum in Pueblo.  Meet at 10 a.m. at the Museum located at 301 North Union.  This is NOT the old train depot but is closer to downtown.  Let us know if you plan to attend so we can give the Museum a count.  We can have lunch together afterwards for those who would like to do that.  Thanks.

I have copied the 7 pages of the 1940 census for Wetmore so the History Center will have one.  Will have to get a magnifying glass as it is hard to read.
