The Wetmore Halfway House, aka Jackson Hill Stage Stop, February 28, 2022

We'd like to share a brief history of the Wetmore Halfway House or the Jackson Hill Stage Stop, located at the top of Jackson Hill just outside of Wetmore, CO.

This history was written by Jack McFall in the 1970's.

Built in 1872-1873, the Halfway house is still standing and is now 150 years old!
